爱存在

Love is not blind -- it sees more, not less. But because it sees more, it is willing to see less.

the ultimate paradox

To you: WHATEVER. Yes, YOU. I mean YOU. Stop choumei-ing and thinking that I'm talking about YOU. Yup. You.

Spent my weekend Bleaching myself. >_< The obsession came back again! And I tried to start on Goong... but failed. Got too distracted. And I still have Waterboys/My Brother/Laputa/100 vcds/dvds to watch and I don't think I can finish any by the end of the year! Grrr!

Prelims are over but I don't feel much... and I'm going to be grounded too.

Went shopping with my classmates today! (They have NO stamina! XP) I bought two pairs of earrings. Yes, earrings AGAIN. Please kill me.

Thank you LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE for TOBLERONE! <3

I hope my grandpapa is okay.

This is such a pointless entry. x) I cannot wait for THURSDAY!

to know he is warm though I am cold

Geography = killer.
Econs = major screw-up.

And I thought the era of the CarelessMistakes ended with my dropping Maths 9233.

But w00t!!! One last paper. The joy and relaxation this brings outweighs everything.

(Though my cousin has just kindly informed me that prelim results DO matter because they are occasionally looked at when you apply for a job during the 5-month break.)

(I can't wait to go to Taiwan. My parents are very amused at the unrest that they're stirring up for bian3333 to step down.)

(And fairy-tales don't come true. =< I am stupid. Boo-hoo.)

the mini-shark

Today something happpened to piss me off! YH and Aileen and I were studying in the school library. And Aileen happened to be in shorts and slippers (which is a no-no according to the "poster pasted outside the library"). And then the two of us went to the toilet and came back. And we got caught by the student librarian (not sure if he's a J1 or J2, but it's probably the former because dilligent J2s would be mugging their asses off for prelims right now and NOT waste their time being slaves to great white sharks and their minions, right? ;)) and he said,

"No shorts allowed in the library!" - in this super buay song tone.

We-ll. Okay. So we went out. And we waited. And we tried to go in again. (Stupid huh.) And so we got chewed out by him again. We didn't see Aunty Shirley in the corner so we tried to 'dao' him and walk on. And then he said (shouted):

"GET OUT OF THE LIBRARY!"

Wth! I've never seen a student so rude in my whole life! If it had been some teacher I wouldn't have minded. If it had been Aunty Shirley I would have been surprised but I know I'd have deserved it. If it had been Great White Shark... well, I would have been laughing in front of her. XD. But a student librarian! Who gave him the authority to shout at us to get out? Sure it was our fault for entering TWICE and attempting to ignore him. But still. Big turn-off. BIG TURN-OFF MAN. He actually tried to stoop to great white shark's level. -_-

Or maybe the NY population is just TOO NICE in general so far and I've been too used to it x) After all, NYJCians 'don't steal'. Of course, that's an over-generalized example. But hey. Who doesn't over-generalize?

----------

Ahahahahaha! My godma is living in Kazakstan now! How amazing that it happens to be the place featured in Paul Coelho's latest novel x) which is the first novel I've read in a long, long time excluding the 4 lit books this year. Which is very sad.

She sent me such a nice long reply to my email. I lurve her so so so much.

Martina McBride - Concrete Angel

She walks to school with the lunch she packed
Nobody knows what she's holdin' back
Wearin' the same dress she wore yesterday
She hides the bruises with linen and lace

The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask
It's hard to see the pain behind the mask
Bearing the burden of a secret storm
Sometimes she wishes she was never born

Through the wind and the rain
She stands hard as a stone
In a world that she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings
And she flies to a place where she's loved
Concrete angel

Somebody cries in the middle of the night
The neighbors hear, but they turn out the lights
A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate
When morning comes it'll be too late

A statue stands in a shaded place
An angel girl with an upturned face
A name is written on a polished rock
A broken heart that the world forgot
