'wo jiu shi na tiao long!!!1'

er... whatever... I'm listening to Eunice's Jay Chou Live CD... It's awesome. Jay rawks :D

Hahaha, yesh... Today, on the 27th of March, Sunday, I was forced to go to school. AND reach there by 6.30 in the morning. For one whole week I've been deprived of that 'hey-I-woke-up-at-EIGHT!' feel. Sigh.

We Guzheng members had to go to Singapore Conference Hall for practice... the place is quite nice, because of the air-con and the fantastic sound quality - but it gets freezing. I just realized that Michelyn, one of our percussionists, is lame. She didn't help to raise the temperature at all.

Anyway, today's practice was better than yesterday's, mainly because I didn't sweat buckets carrying the stupid guzhengs and the 'legs' and their stupid large and bulky casings around. Yesterday I made at least FIVE trips back and forth from the very end of the CCA block to the HALL which is in the main block. It sucked. @_@ Plus, yesterday we practiced at the horrible hall, which 1) didn't have air-con on 2) has horrible sound quality. I felt so demoralized after the practice.... I thought the most we were gonna get was a disgusting COP. After today I'm thinking we may still have a chance (at getting at least a Bronze. o.o) HAHA.

I think I'll be staying in Guzheng after all - just to follow it to the SYF. After that... well... my loyalty will belong solely to my studies. *nod* I am taking four As. I applied already. I'll probably drop one next year... but we'll see. =)

Guzheng people are fun... some of them, anyway. We j1s have formed the j1 clique!!! Er... right. We went to Pastamania at J8 today after practice. After eating Creamy CHicken for the third time, it doesn't taste so nice anymore... I should REALLY try something else aside from the regulars next time. Maybe the 'AGLIO OGLIO' thingy (whatever it's called. The vegetarian one.) Anyone tried it before? Is it nice? It happens to be the cheapest pasta thingy on the menu, so I asked. =P

Oh, yeah... we took Neoprints again. *SIGH* Now I have THREE more neoprints to add to my extensive collection. And I haven't even collected my share of the neoprints we kboxing people took on Friday... Psst, Kbox people... talk to me on MSN and I'll send you all the scanned neoprints. =)

Ponners unite!

Am drinking soup while typing this (HAHA, I'm MT too - multi-tasking!! =P) ... kind of like supper... but I'll probably have some apple slices later, so... yeah. >.< whole. I prefer them thinly sliced. (Same for shitake mushrooms. I think I'm weird. Aren't I?)

Anyway, I had a great day today (aside from being worried and feeling bad about something - not ponning, mind you - it's a person - but I don't want to discuss it here). We totally ponned school - including assembly - and went to Kbox as planned! And our OGLs were kind to help us mark attendance - in fact, they had already marked it yesterday for us. o.o (We have reeeally nice OGLs, honestly. Today, when our gang was short of pizza, they gave us their OGL tags and let us go get extra pizzas. Wow...) Anyway, we would have gone to learn the All Stars dance (it's so cool) and ponned after that, except Shannen had to complete this chinese essay thing, so Candace and I went to Mcdonalds with her. Haha. There we had some pretty interesting discussions... mainly about some Zhonghuarians... hehe.

Um, at McDonalds, Candace and I wanted to visit the toilet, but as you know, Mcdonalds always only has ONE (or is it two?) cubicle, and in that cubicle, well, there was this woman in there. And she was making very horrible retching sounds. We got out of there very quickly (and decided to visit the toilet at Serangoon MRT.)

Okie... then we went to Kbox!!! It really is the third time we've been to Kbox Cineleisure in a month, okay. The gang consisted of me, Crispy, Candace, YH, Shannen, Yvonne, Franni, Eunice and Joshua. So fun. Squee. =P I tell you, the people working there probably RECOGNISE us by now... (And this time, we weren't given coasters, because they probably remembered how we tossed them around on our previous session... o.o)

As usual, Cripsy began the session with 'PENG YOU'. (I know, it's ALWAYS the same song. =P Crispy, you should really be more not-so-paiseh!!) We also sang 'jian ao' again - at least three or four times, I think. That's why it's stuck in my head now (so why am I making my condition worse by downloading the song itself?! And why do they know so many 5566 songs?!) Haha. Shannen made everyone go  to her pro-dedness. And we made Franni sing 'One Night in Beijing'... but Sweez's version was better XD...

Btw, Franni... you really sing very well... I  you too...

Okay, so, um, we called for extended time... which was very bad for me, because I wasn't supposed to spend so much (plus, I'm spending on an activity I'm forbidden to engage in!!!!) But it was also very good, because everyone got very, very high.

Soooo we sang Jay Chou's 'Shuang Jie Gun'!!! OBVIOUSLY, nobody could rap because it was too fast... BUT... at least we could scream the 'HE HE HA HEE' parts! HAHA! We DID manage to beat the horribly noisy people next door! But that wasn't the loudest song we sang (screamed), because the loudest was most definitely 'Dui Mian De Nu Hai Kan Guo Lai'. That is one song NOBODY doesn't know how to sing. For sure. ^_^

We wanted to end off with something lame as well... so we girls decided to sing Teresa Teng's 'TIAN MI MI'... (my idea...) o.o We scared off the guys. The waiter came in to clear our drinks and he was um-choiing (ie. trying to hide his smile/laugh). It was so funny!! Shannen, Candace and I ended up laughing at him! And he was really, really close to laughing out loud when he came in for the second time and YH and Yvonne were playing 'Hei Bai Pei' (losers drink straight from the jug). Poor YH... she lost so many times, she had to drink half the jug. She couldn't take it and went to throw up in the toilet...

After that... sigh. We went to take Neoprints. (MORE spending of money... plus... it was my insane idea again). We DRAGGED the guys there and sought out the unlimited-time-for-decoration machine. Which meant that we could have stayed ther FOREVER, trying to perfectionize our beautiful neoprints. (Btw, people... I haven't gotten around to scanning them yet because my sis is using the comp that is connected to the scanner. Sorry!)

We were HORRIBLY late for the pizza dinner... we would have ponned that too, but we did pay five bucks for it. So, yeah. After that we had a disco thingy... but I found myself unable to get as high as I was three months ago, during the first Orientation. (I was so high then you probably wouldn't have recognised me). Maybe it's because there are too many people I know well, or I'm too tired. Blah.) Anyway, they didn't put on the traditional couple dance. NO FAIR. I luff that song because the steps are very simple and there's a lot of bouncing around. ^_^

that's about it, I suppose you could see other blogs for more information =P

Orientation II

...was boring. Guess what, I found Orientation I actually not so boring. Maybe it's because now I have no more energy to be enthusiastic... plus, I'm in pain =P BUT... Major plus point here! In my OG (OG6 ITHOR - I miss the great Zelda cheers) there are SIX people I know. There's Siti and four other Zhonghuarians. Can you believe it? Five in all. Shannen, Ziqian, Shuyi, Candace and I. o_O What's with the sorting?! Oh, well, I guess I'm lucky. ^_^

Now I'm starting to realize how much I actually miss the Zhonghuarians - only some, though. =P So shocking! So many new Zhonghuarians in NY!! o.o

Yeah, well, today was boring... (it's the 3rd time I've said that word)... it was funny seeing some of our 05a1 peeps as OGLs. So cute. Hee. I think the only fun thing today was the MASS DANCE. Yay. Summer Sunshine is great - but now that I'm learning it all over again, I realize that so many of the steps that I remembered were WRONG. -___- Sigh. Anyway, I partnered Shannen (and I was the guy) and Shannen ALWAYS forgot to turn around before the start of the chorus... After that we learnt a bit of the Traditional Couple Dance, which is a lot more fun (because it's a lot more simple - unfortunately, of course, I HATE the waltz). Shannen is a NATURAL at waltzing. She got it straightaway. You know, it took me SO LONG and my stupid partner wasn't helping. He was the guy and he was supposed to lead me and he didn't have a single CLUE.

Haha.

We're gonna 'pon' tomorrow to go Kbox... hahahaha! It's my third time this year!! Shall I say... my third time this month. O_O I know, I know... but it's too fun. Haha. Don't think I'm gonna sing much, though. Shannen is too much of a pro... and Candace and Ziqian and Franni are coming and they can sing too...

---
'you know where you've sent her
you sure know where you are
you're trying to ease off
but you know you won't get far
and now she's up there
sings like an angel
but you can't hear those words
and now she's up there
sings like an angel
unforgivable sinner...
maybe once lost but now you're found
stand up before you hit the ground...'

K-boxing (II)!!

Okay, I'm finally updating... I didn't update much during the past holiday because there was nothing very interesting to blog about after the Sentosa outing. Haha. I did watch quite a few movies though. I finally watched 'New Police Story' which is awesome because it gives a lot of eye-candy *coughDanielWu&NicholasTsecough*. I FINALLY finished Flame of Recca (manga - all 33 books, okay! Go me!!) And I FINALLY got to watch Lord of the Rings yesterday. Soooo niiice!!! *LEGOLAS*

Ahem.

Anyway... today 05a1 visited Kbox again! O_O Now there was a lot more people there... as compared to the previous seven. So we got a much bigger room with four mics. For some reason, only the wireless ones worked well. @_@ The other two... well, you might as well not use the mics.

Yup... it was as fun as it was the other time! Definitely, cause there were a lot more people now! We actually paid only 6 dollars because we went for the lunch hour - BUT we decided to have an extended singing period, so... we ended up paying ten dollars each. *Sigh*. I'm STILL broke. CURSE that person who stole my sandals. I wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for him/her/it...

We sang a lotof songs! This time not a lot of Jay fans were present... if not a lot more Jay songs would have been sung. (Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, since I LUFF Jay too. ^^) And only two Liang Jing Ru songs so far. Hee... I luff that song, Tong Hua, by Guang Liang. The MV ish sho sad. Oh, yeah, Yvonne and Val - our two 5566 fanatics - sang a lot of 5566 songs. @_@ I barely knew any of them!

AMAZING DISCOVERY: FRANSON CAN SING. O_O Okay, maybe not very shocking... I already suspected that he could sing, but... not THIS well... He could really become a professional!! Haha... Yinghui was like close to tears while hearing him sing the song...

Yeah... and for lunch, we all had very very very cold fried rice... It was nice, though. If only we'd gotten to eat it when it was still warm. But all of us were uber distracted.

And about two hours into the session I totally LOST my voice. Okay, it was still there but I was singing monotone after that. (SEE, I'M TALENTED TOO!) I think it was because of those M2M songs. They make you sing very high notes all the time without any kind of pause/rest...

We also had this stupid battle where Yvonne, Val and I started throwing those coasters (is that what you call them?) at the guys who were sitting at the other side of the room. Chee Kiang got damn buay song. :P And we almost hit one of the waitresses who came in at that moment. Haha...

And we sang Zhou Hua Jian's Peng You again! It was very touching... hm... too bad Graduation by Vitamin C wasn't available. I'm sure Yinghui would really have cried. :P

More later if I can think of it (because I'm too hungry to think at the moment)...

OMG, boredom

Hahaha... I'm really bored these days. Okay, I wasn't so bored yesterday cause' I went out shopping with my mom. I bought a lot of skirts. o.o And the day before yesterday I watched 'New Police Story'. I know, I'm very lag... yeah, and I was oogling at all the eye candy. *coughNicholasTse&DanielWucough* I don't understand how Daniel Wu nabbed a Golden Horse award for his role though. He was kewl, but... it's Best Supporting Actor leh! @_@

and I'm finally close to finishing the Flame of Recca manga... but the downloading system is damn unpredictable so it's taking me a very long time. Sigh.

(i'm crapping because I don't really have anything to say. :P *wants to go out!!!*)

SENTOSA!!

So Expensive but Nothing To See Actually.

Okay... I probably sound all 'Sentosa is so schweet - SQUEE!'... Actually, that wasn't the intended impression. ;P Today 05A1 went to Sentosa!! So happy! *dances* Whee. Almost everyone from the usual gang of crappers was there - what made me even more hyper was the fact that even Siti, Clemence and Emiko went! Wahaha! Finally it's the full class! If only Fran, Val, Pest and Xinyi could make it. Siiiigh.

I can still feel as though the sand's between my toes. No, really.

The sand at Siloso Beach was so soft! XING FU DE GAN JUE! Hahaha... actually, only one portion of the sand at Siloso Beach was perfect... The rest of the beach was not-so-good in some way. Too coarse, too hot, or something. When we first got there somehow the rest of the group pang-sehded me, Eunice, Emiko, Mag and Clemence to find out about kayaking... So we just stepped around in the nice seawater and took photos. ^_^ Clemence took this video of EMiko and I doing the silly 'running-towards-each-other-on-the-beach' romantic scene in slow mo. Haha! It looked spastic.

After that we came back and most of us went KAYAKING! ^_^ I haven't kayaked in a year! Haha... Paired up with Swee Wei... he got it even though it was his first time on a kayak! And me is still the big slacker as usual. :P I think I barely canoed... and if I did, we weren't synchronised. At first I was REALLY worried to the point of wanting to back out, because the kayak was so small and narrow and looked so flimsy against the waves. AND I can't swim - not really. XD But it was fun, and I'm glad I went! Yay!

Rebecca was so scary... she was sticking both legs out of the kayak and Siti was close to screaming her head off. :P Swee Wei took her cue and started shaking our kayak... >.BRIDGE! Which is really the most fun card game ever. ^_^ I'm glad they liked it too. Took some time for Swee Wei to catch on, though. :P

And after that... I went to join the others in the water. It was very fun. I wish I had gone completely in sooner, because after a while I realized it was IMPOSSIBLE to not get wet (and resist it at the same time). Hee hee. We chatted a bit and drifted around. And we discovered that our gor Crispy has SIX PACK!!! Hahahaha! We also psychoed the other guys (Vin and Swee Wei to take off their shirts. :P We sounded like a bunch of despo girls. Hahaha!

And it feels so shiok, to sit on the shore and let the waves (swash and backwash... whatever. I forgot.) hit you. ^_^ Especially the big ones.

And now... *sigh* We come to the best part of the outing. (Feel the sarcasm?)

SOMEONE STOLE ONE OF MY SANDALS. ONE. I CAN'T THINK WHAT A PERSON WOULD DO WITH ONLY ONE SANDAL. BECAUSE OF THIS, I HAD TO GO AND BUY A NEW PAIR WHICH COSTS LIKE THIRTY BUCKS. I HAD NO CHOICE. MY MOM WOULD KILL ME. PLUS, THE SANDALS WERE BRAND NEW.

So I went to Bata at J8 to buy the sandals... I could almost see the question marks appearing above all the salespeople's foreheads. They were probably wondering why on earth I was requesting to buy only one sandal (though that became obvious later on) and why on earth I wanted to throw away one perfectly fine and new (and identical) sandal.

Also... my mom is kinda smart. Back home, she was like inspecting the sandals and wondering why on earth there wasn't any sand in the grooves.

MOM: *to sis, while I was in toilet* Hm... How come there's no sand?
SIS: Um... I think jie washed it off la. You know she's a clean freak what.
MOM: I don't buy it.

I LOVE MY SISTER FOREVER. LOL. (She didn't know I bought a new pair yet. I told her later. :P And actually, I AM a clean freak. Except I wouldn't do something as mindless as picking the sand from my sandals.)

AND I AM SO BROKE. I HAD TO TAKE MONEY FROM MY HONGBAO COLLECTIONS. @_@

Sigh.

Back to the outing itself. After that we waited at least ONE HOUR in line for a shower. I tell you, people should start realizing that public toilets are NOT toilets in your own HOUSE. Don't you like, feel ashamed spending so frikking long in the shower knowing that are hundreds of girls in line waiting for you to be done?!! @_@

Yeah, so I had to like borrow Chee Kiang's sandals... Which are super big! -_- Plus, I've never actually worn slippers with that thingy sticking out in the middle... It feels very uncomfortable. Haha. But I was actually intending to train myself to wear those slippers because... those kind of slippers look the best...

Speaking of CHEE KIANG... HE IS SO RICH. On the MRT on the way home...

CHEE KIANG: What? I have three homes.
EVERYONE: ?!
CHEE KIANG: One in AMK, two in TPY.
YING HUI: ...Where do your parents stay?
CHEE KIANG: (I forgot his answer.)
YING HUI: Then you should go back there!
CHEE KIANG: But the other one has a PS2.
EVERYONE: .....

And he decided to give me his slippers. O_O

Anyway. After THAT we went for dinner! At Harbour Front Mall... I'm really sorry people... I wanted to have steamboat too... but I was broke. (Or going to be.) x.x Very, very sorry. Oh, well...

We talked a lot at dinner. (I had pasta again - for like the third time since holiday started. o_o) I luff this class... it's the first class I have actually become so vocal in. Hee. Then we went to play at the arcade - yay! DAYTONA! I tell you, this class is by far the most easily-distracted class. The moment we passed by that place, we went in - and the moment we went in, we knew we wouldn't want to come out anytime soon. *sigh* It was fun, though. I wouldn't mind spending a whole day at the arcade. But my arms got rather tired from trying to steer the car on this weird game I challenged Yvonne on... My new resolution is to beat Yvonne! Hah! She won three games in a row. No fair!

Haha... And we went to have ice-cream - the New Zealand Ice Cream brand! I ate it once - the manga flavour. It was heaven. ^_^ And I realized that the lime flavour is awesome. I didn't think it'd turn out well at first, but... yeah. It doesn't really taste like ice cream, though. *shrugs*

Lame joke of the day:
Swee Wei: Hai, stop talking about God already.
Eunice: Then just say 'don't have'.

Get it...? -_-

Okie, I'll put up more stuff tomorrow if I can remember... My mom ish giving me the glare again. I'm so glad she was in a good mood and didn't scream at me for going to soak in seawater (because no matter how much I try to 'jiao bian', it's so OBVIOUS that I did!!!) Hee hee... sayonara.

(FOR MORE INFO, SEE OTHER UMOJA PEEPS' BLOGS! :D)

I love 05A1. ^_^ I wanna go out with you all again...

I luff 05A1. ^_^

3/15/2005

Boring day.

It's Tuesday. The second day of my school holidays. I miss 05A1 already.

Today I went for guzheng practice. It was from 8 to 1pm. It sucked, as usual. I've said it before, I like the instrument still, but not NY guzheng for some reason... I think all of you are gonna ask me why I don't quit, PLUS, PEARLS has been scrapped. ah, whatever. All the J1s got through the audition today but I think that was only because one of our seniors pleaded on our behalf, and the instructor found some tiny space in her heart to have sympathy on us. *shrugs* It doesn't really matter anymore if I get into SYF. After all, that just means more time to spend on my studies since I'm going to be doing four As.

Btw... is the 05a1 sentosa outing on wednesday or thursday?! Can it be confirmed earlier...?!

>.<

My mom is starting to lecture me about going to Sentosa again... she's suspecting that we're going to spend a day at the beach (and we are...)... And, yesh, she mightily disapproves. JUST MY LUCK. If she asks anymore I'm going to have to come up with my silly lie - we're all going to underwater world! To see and pat the dolphins! >.<>

Can't wait to see all you Umoja peeps again. ^_^

Am watching FullMetal Alchemist (in sucky chinese dub...) as I type this... Edward and Al are so kawaii! Haha! The ending song ish very nice. ^_^ I'm a sucker for j-pop...

3/11/2005

K-boxing! :D

Today was the funnest day of my life! Hee hee... Because my wish finally came true and we went to K-BOX!! (Ie karaoke lounge!) YAY! It was even more fun than we expected. You all should have been there!! Maggie... Xinyi... EUNY... Val... -_- and all the rest of you Umojarians (whatever). Haha.

Lemme share with you this lame conversation Yvonne, Vin & I had while waiting for the train at Bishan...

ME: Yvonne, stop playing with the ball! Wait drop into the gap...
Yvonne: Haha... then if kena hit how?
Yinghui: Haha! You think what? Got explosion arh?
ME: If it's me then there'll be this shower of stars and then you can see this shooting star!!!
Yvonne: Haha! Then if it's me there'll be this banner floating past with the word 'FREAKO' on it!
ME: If it's Eunice, one iceberg will pop out! Eh! NO! Nothing will happen to her! She'll FREEZE THE TRAIN! Then... if it's CRISPY... when the train goes over... there'll be this 'crack-crack' sound... LOL...

I know... very lame. XD

Anyway, we went to Kbox at Cineleisure... At first we were worried! Because we were told the fee was $20 ++ for eight people... But I think the people were out to make big money and didn't inform us of the student package until about like 10 minutes later. @_@ Then, at first, it was only me, Yvonne and Yinghui going to karaoke, when surprise, surprise! The boix couldn't play pool and came to join us instead! I'm so glad they did because it was SO FUN with them around! :D

Guess who started off our session? *drum-roll* Our gor, CRISPY! Haha! Because he could only sing Zhou Hua Jian songs and we forced him to. :P At first everyone was very awkward and no one wanted to sing... But after a while everyone warmed to the idea, thanks to Swee Wei who was so sporting and sang so many Jay Chou songs... Jay rox! Hee...

Then afterwards Yinghui and me sang a LOT of Liang Jing Ru songs... followed by Britney's Lucky and some other SHE songs... Then we discovered that Chee Kiang can really sing!!! Wahlau! I don't understand why he's so paiseh and reluctant about it because he can really hold a tune...

Then after a while, we got influenced by a bunch of people near our room and decided to sing FIR songs!! For the purpose of screaming into the mic! It was very fun, hee! But I'd totally lost my voice by then. And you should have heard me, Crispy, Yinghui and Swee Wei singin' 'TING HAI'... We were screaming... it was horrible when it came to the chorus part! Could hear the glass shattering! ;P I still think the best one to sing was 'TUO DIAO'. Because that song is hilarious. XD

Siiigh. It was so fun. We'll definitely go again, people. RIGHT?! (Even Chee Kiang said it was fun. OMG.)

I know I miss you all already, 05A1 peeps. But rmb... this is not the end! We'll still be together... forever and ever and ever and ever...

Can't wait for Wednesday. SENTOSA. Heh. ^_^

thousand gold missy

First and foremost: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY!!

Yeeesh! It's my momma's birthday!! I gave her an old drawing of mine. Quite cheapo... but it's the thought that counts, right? And she likes my drawings. I luff my mom (though I can't say I LIKE her all of the time. Like and love are two different things)... Besides, I know she's not really expecting anything. She wants intangible results from me. Haha...

Anyway... so many things have happened over the past few days. I ish very very happy. (I know I sound stupid, but I'm just telling the truth, okie?) Which means this is going to be an extremely long blog post. You all should have seen it coming sooner or later since my previous blog entries are all so short and brief and to-the-point... Hehe.

Anyway! On Monday we painted Crispy's nails! Black!!! Plus, I even went to decorate them with liquid paper... x.x Feel so bad now. Crispy is so nice! He didn't even complain or hate us! Poor bro. Mwahahaha! Crispy is officially 'gor' to most of us 05A1 girls! Yay, now I have an elder brother! Always wanted one...

I also painted mine - only the last finger, actually - but my mom saw it when I came home. She told me off for being an 'ah lian' and falling into bad company and stuff - yeah, the usual - and made me wash them off with da nail polish remover. *sniff* Haha.

We also went to play netball - again!! From 2 - 3pm and 5 - 7pm - because I CRASHED NETBALL. The CCA. Hee. Quite fun... but I felt very out-of-place there. I was like, thinking, 'WTF am I doing here?' Heh. But Wendy said that practice was the slackest of practices. Which means that usually they have PT and it's a LOT tougher. We J1s also got to play a game, and I was the WD... The WA I was defending was SO fast! I couldn't mark her at ALL! *sigh* I am really considering staying in guzheng now because I am starting to enjoy the practices at least a little. BUT... after March holidays, we're going to have to practice THREE DAYS A WEEK. *dies*

So as a result of all that netball, I went home with thousands of blisters and a 'darker' layer of skin... It's reverted back to normal, though. Yay!

Okie... on to today.

The netball game wasn't too enjoyable. I only played for 5 mins and didn't get to catch the ball at all because two certain people were hogging my side of the court. =P Haha. I managed to intercept the ball once but it went straight back into the arms of the thrower. *sigh* I'm such a loser... We lost, very unexpectedly. But as Eunice said, we won in spirit! Haha! And it was a good game! No one was expecting such stiff competition.

Teacher: So what have you learnt from this inter-class game?
Yvonne: Umpire kayu.

Wahahaha! You go girl!

Is it just me, or have we all been watching movies a LOT lately? We watched American History X the other day... it was a cool movie. I can't exactly say I LIKED it because it was tragic and disturbing, but, yeah, it made me think and did strike some kind of chord in me. Yinghui and I like to explore racism issues for some reason. Hee. The movie was about this white set of siblings who hated the Blacks in their neighbourhood. But when the older sibling Derek killed two blacks and got sent to jail, he made a black friend there and from then on his mindset changed. However when he was released from prison, determined to start over, those blacks wanting revenge on him killed his younger brother instead when they couldn't locate him... it was really sa-a-ad. The weirdest thing was, the younger brother was still narrating at the end of the movie (even though he's actually dead). Haha. I like this line he said,

"Life's too short to be pissed at anyone for any amount of time"

or something. I forgot. x.x

We also watched Files of the Young Kindaichi... It was cool and kinda cute in some parts, but the ending was pretty expected... I was suspecting Lily from the start (because it ALWAYS ends that way!!! The least likely person is actually the murder, or, the person who asks you to investigate a certain case is actually the culprit). PLUS it didn't appear likely that the brother would be the murderer, AND the movie tried to make you suspect that it was the crazy photographer who did the crimes. Haha.

AND... we watched Day After Tomorrow. The graphics and certain parts of the dialogue are so cheesy. The storms, floods, icebergs-breaking and especially the TWISTERS... They all looked really fake. When I first saw it I was wondering if the people were gonna be animated. I was thinking of Ice Age =P But it was pretty interesting, though. I wanna continue watching. *sigh* I still don't understand how global warming leads to a FALL in global temps! (And I'm a GEOG student!!) I thought it led to floods, mostly. *shrugs*

Yesh... anyway, something funny happened.

VALERIE: Huh? But I thought you all wanted to watch Day After Tomorrow? Then when you all watching?
ME AND FRANNI: The day after tomorrow la!!

Haha... Great minds think alike!! =P (or should I say lame?)

Oh, yeah! BREAKING NEWS!! MR INVISIBLE AKA ERIC CAME BACK TODAY! Haha... He bought us brownies! So schweet of him. :D They were nice brownies...

Hm... ANd here is your bai ling ge, teaching you CHINESE! Wahaha... thousand gold missy is a literal translation of the chinese cheng yu 'qian jing xiao jie' (Which refers to me and VALERIE. HAHAHA.) I got it right this time, okay?! No more strawberries and stone, please. (Lou, do you know you totally ruined my life with that 'stoned' comment? They all refer to me as the 'stoned' one now. *sniff*)

BTW... Just in case you all were wondering... I've decided to take 4 a lvl subjects for the time being. I think Maths is gonna be a killer... I only just remembered how much I hated maths today. I got so 'pek cek' doing partial fractions today. And everyone says it's the EASIEST. Sigh. I'm so hopeless... My A1 is so tyco...

see plum to stop thirst

...wang mei zhi ke.

Never mind.

Er, that's what happened to me today when I went to the comics section of Kinokuniya at Taka... happens to me everytime, seriously. Okay, I get into that kind of situation in every book store, clothes store and CD store that you can come across. Haha. Stupid plastic coverings, forming this wall between me and my... never mind.

Anyway, this is Jeness's last trip to Singapore (probably - I hope not!) so I had to go out with her one last time. Jiashan and Rebecca came along too. Hahaha. We went to *gasp* book a hotel room! o_O Okay, hahaha. We just went to visit Jeness's room, that's all. It was very nice and the toilet switch was very fun to play with! It was a kawaii switch! Haha! But it's really been a long time since I've been in a nice hotel in a nice hotel room... it's been eight years since I went abroad. Stupid mom - she's so paranoid about airplanes and flights and crap...

ANYWAAAAY. In Jeness's room we kinda messed around with tarot cards... I tried to predict my love life. It was very rubbishy. Three weeks from now, whoever I'm in a relationship with will have 'one foot planted on two boats'. Ie, he is going to cheat on me. HAHA! :P I'm so lucky I'm not attached. Not that I believe the cards, but, well... my luck must have been pretty bad for me to land so many cards upside-down (which is bad, most of the time).

Um... and I tried to pick between 3 A lvl subjects and 4 a lvl subjects using tarot cards. It didn't turn out successful, though... Both were equally excellent and horrible in their outcomes. *shrugs*

Yinghui has been psychoing me to take 4 as, but I'm a bit apprehensive about it. If I DO take it, it's mainly because no one else I know would be in the same class as me otherwise. x.x But I know I don't want to spend so much time on Math, I don't want the crapload of homework that Maths so graciously provides, I don't think I'd be happy studying Maths anyway. Maths sucks. Yay.

... *sigh* And even after all this and that 10 points, I'm still facing a dilemma. (I'm in no position to complain, though... and I'm happy. Of course.)

(OH, and I just did the JAE thingy. My newer laptop apparently doesn't have JAVA applets or something - whatever they are. TOOK ME FOREVER FOR ME TO FIGURE IT OUT. X.X And in comparison, this slow, stupid, low-on-virtual-memory computer helped me to apply in a matter of minutes. The world is strange. *nods* I'm so wise and knowledgeable, aha.

Just in case you guys are wondering... NY's my first choice. ARTS. I'm stupid, I know. Whatever.)
