5/14/2005

It's been a horrible week.

Tests, tests and more tests... well, actually, I'm exagerrating quite a bit. I only had three tests this week - but all three were horrible. Especially the Mathematics 9233 one... because of it, I've gotten so demoralized. I am SERIOUSLY considering dropping Mathematics. Actually, I've been considering it for a long time. That's why I never got around to buying the ten-year series - because I wasn't sure if I could make it. I can't make any effort to pay attention in lectures, and I realize I DON'T understand anyway. Thanks a lot, Ms Teng. (And I don't particularly care just who's reading my blog. Am too tired to care, honestly.) I can't catch up very well with first-three-mths work, and I still make the same old dumb careless mistakes.

I am just SO not cut-out for Maths.

I wonder how I got that A2. (But seriously... the O level 2004 paper was easy. Not the prelim paper. Not any other Math exam paper.)

I'm not giving up yet... although I realy am too tired and demoralized to carry on. I can't even bothered to do my tutorials... and ... and... actually I've more or less confirmed about the fact that I'm dropping Maths. Just had a talk with my dad, and I think I really don't have THAT much interest for it.

To tell the truth, I took Maths mainly because 1) okay, I got A2 for both E/A maths during O Lvl, 2) I sorta enjoy doing Maths, when I'm not making careless mistakes, and because it's the only subject which I can study while listening to music to, and 3) I wanted to be studying the same things with the hardcore-gangers. Haha... what a lame reason, but...

anyway...

DIE, NY PE DEPARTMENT. Blaaaarrrrrrgh.

(Yes, I couldn't get that D for Standing Broadjump. Oh, joy.)

Only two things made me happy this week. I got an A for Economics. Yay. I finally inherited one part of my daddy's multi-talented genes. (I don't think this A grade can be sustained, though... I don't understand the latest topic at ALL. What on earth is happening to me? I can't keep up.) The second thing concerns Guzheng. I adore NY guzheng now. I luff my lil' guzheng family. I have a very cute husband (SHUYI!), a very lovable maid (Serene aka Maria aka Sophia), a very cute mom (Hsiang Ling), a very cute 'jie' (who had an *cough* incestuous affair with me) referred to as Huang Weiyu and two funny grandparents (Yi Heng and Yi Liang!!). Haha! And now I have a kid too! Huilin!! hee...

And I still have all this homework! Urgh! And my final PI draft! *pulls out hair* Bleh. 'SCOPE TOO NARROW'. GAD. =XP
