I felt like a kid again

...when I stepped into the Zoo.

It's been forever since I've been in that place. I scampered from exhibit to exhibit, crying 'Oh, so cute!' (I don't even say that much in 'cute' toystores/ gift shops) and 'OMG!' 50% of the time.

Went to watch the Animal Friends Show; it made me feel like a gi-nah. =P I love the dogs though. And since quite a long time ago, I've already planned to marry a guy who's a dog-lover. (ESPECIALLY big dogs.)

(I think I love big animals because I love BIG CATS. They're so statuesque and beautifully deadly and deadly beautiful.)

The most exciting part of all was the Fragile Forest trail. Certain people kept screaming during the trail. XP Even over butterflies!!! Butterflies are not scary! (Bees are. I WOULD scream if there were bees. But it's butterflies =p) Of course it was shocking when a bat flew_right_over our heads and when the racoon-thingy (it's super cute!) leapt very suddenly from one railing to the opposite one right in front of me. The raccoon-thingy has very soft paws <3 And a duck-couple and four sweet ducklings strolled onto the path in front of us. (Oh, yeah, their flapping was quite sudden so it scared us too.)

Oh, and when certain people screamed it kind of got to the biggest raccoon-thingy (who looks like the pack leader) and he started making very loud and angry croaks/noises. He looked really aggressive for a while. We were backing away and all the ang-mohs around us were um-chioing at our antics. XD

Also, I don't see why bats are ugly. And I think that (as much as I hate beetles) the big one with the black, shiny hard shell really looks kind of glam. And I admit some animals are smelly, but at least it's the 'nature' kind of smelly and not the smell of like, exhaust fumes and fertiliser and dirty toilets and rubbish.

Oh, I was telling Chey that I want a 'BAI MA WANG ZI', but even if there's no WANG ZI I wouldn't mind. I'm a sucker for horses. Especially white horses. Horses are SHUAI. Especially the one that was pulling the carriage around (but I can't help remembering how much pain these horses actually go through to clamp onto the bit and pull the carriage).

What happened to the elephants? =( The giraffes are so short. And the polar bears so pitiful. And the cow was practically the biggest thing in the zoo.

I realize that once my engine is kickstarted, I can't really stop talking. Hehe. <3 my classmates.

It was a great day.
